A FOME manual car wash starts with a high-pressure jet pre-rinse to lift sand, salt and grit safely off the paint before any cloth touches it. We then apply a thick foam cannon pre-soak with pH-balanced shampoo to lubricate and lift remaining grime. The actual hand wash uses the two-bucket method (one bucket for shampoo solution, one for rinse water) with soft microfibre mitts, working panel by panel from the top down. Wheels, tyres and arches get separate dedicated brushes so wheel grime never crosses to the body. The car is hand-dried with plush microfibre drying towels and finished with a quick-detailer gloss spray. Higher tiers add interior vacuuming, steam treatment, leather conditioning and ceramic-spray paint protection.

Is a manual car wash safe for ceramic coatings and PPF?
Yes. A manual hand wash with pH-balanced shampoo is the only safe wash method for ceramic-coated cars or PPF-wrapped vehicles. Automated brushes are explicitly contraindicated by most ceramic manufacturers. FOME chemistry and technique are ceramic-safe and PPF-safe across every tier.
